Dragica Carlin

Pinwheels of delicately articulated paint dance across a canvas stage choreographed by Dragica Carlin. Born in Croatia and currently working in London, there is an international melody to the cadence of her paintings.

Executed often in large scale, Carlin chooses rich hues of earth and ocean to enfold in a continual interchange of intentional marks. Carlin characteristically places a precise manipulation of paint suggesting repetitive order amid material randomness.
